Questions From Jesus Christ - III

Questions From Jesus Christ - III
But who do you say that I am? (Matthew 16:15)

Am I a doctor who cures you, or a policeman who ensures law and order in your life, or a Judge who grants you justice?

Am I a miracle man who works miracles?

Seriously what is your answer?

Who am I to you and what is the place that you have given me in your life?

If you have grown in your relationship with me, you will declare what my disciple Thomas once declared – My Lord and My God.

Questions From Jesus Christ - II

Questions From Jesus Christ - II
Who do people say the Son of Man is? (Matthew 16:13)

At Baptism you were given a responsibility and that was to bear witness to me.

If today your friends and those close to you don’t experience my love through you, there is something seriously wrong with you and your life.

What you show them is what they think I am.

Your life as a Christian is so very ordinary that people around you don’t see the need for change.

Sometimes the kind of witness you bear, gives them the feeling that they are better off being what they are.

Isn’t it time your life became a testimony?

Questions From Jesus Christ - I

Questions From Jesus Christ - I
How many loaves do you have? (Matthew 15:34)

Loaf or bread represents my Word.

You cannot survive with the earthly bread alone, you need ME, the bread that came down to give you eternal life.

I am the Word made flesh. MY WORD is eternal.

Strive therefore to LEARN MY WORD.

How many scriptures do you know by-heart?

Can you call to mind and recite at least a couple of them in a crisis?

Do you practice living by MY WORD? Just as you satisfy your hunger better by having more loaves, the more the number of scriptures in your heart, the better your life.

Life with Jesus

Life with Jesus

Jesus is with me every hour, every day,

Guiding me, leading me,  showing the way.

Since I decdied to believe on his name,

Nothing in life has ever been the same.

The addictions I suffered are soothed by his hand

My anguish of heart drifted off like fine sand.

I live every moment with guidance from above;

Every part of my heart is squeezed full of God’s love.

Once all was too hard and I despaired of all peace,

But when I took His offer all despair was released.

No problem today cannot be overcome;

My job is to pray; God gets the rest done.

What glorious relief to be under God’s shield—

Why not, my dear friend, won’t you also yield?

Give up your fight to keep walking alone;

Submit to your Saviour; He’ll welcome you home.

GOD is recalling all units manufactured

GOD is recalling all units manufactured

The Maker of all human beings (GOD) is recalling all units manufactured, regardless of make or year,  due to a serious defect in the primary and  central component of the heart.
This  is due to a malfunction in the original  prototype units code named Adam and Eve,  resulting in the reproduction of the same defect  in all subsequent units.
This defect has been identified as “Substantial  Internal Non-morality,” more commonly known as  S.I.N., as it is primarily expressed.

Some of the symptoms include:
1. Loss of direction
2. Foul vocal emissions
3. Amnesia of origin
4. Lack of peace and joy
5. Selfish or violent behavior
6. Depression or confusion
7. Fearfulness
8. Idolatry
9. Rebellion

The Manufacturer, who is neither liable nor at fault  for this defect, is providing factory-authorized  repair and service free of charge to correct this defect. The Repair Technician, JESUS, has most  generously offered to bear the entire burden of  the staggering cost of these repairs. There is no additional fee required.
The number to call for repair in all areas is:  P-R-A-Y-E-R
Once connected, please upload your burden of  SIN through the REPENTANCE procedure. Next, download ATONEMENT from the Repair  Technician, Jesus, into the heart component.

No matter how big or small the SIN defect is, Jesus will replace it with:
1. Love
2. Joy
3. Peace
4. Patience
5. Kindness
6. Goodness
7. Faithfulness
8. Gentleness
9. Self control

Please see the operating manual, the B.I.B.L.E. (BEST Instructions Before Leaving Earth) for further details on the use of these fixes.

WARNING: Continuing to operate the human being unit without correction voids any manufacturer warranties, exposing the unit to dangers and problems too numerous to list, and will result in the human unit being permanently impounded. For free emergency service, call on Jesus.

DANGER: The human being units not responding to this recall action will have to be scrapped in the furnace. The SIN defect will not be permitted to enter Heaven so as to prevent contamination of that facility. Thank you for your attention!

-  GOD
P.S. Please assist where possible by notifying others of this important recall notice, and you may  contact the Father any time by ‘Knee mail’!

Because HE Lives!

Working for God on earth doesn’t pay much……  But His retirement plan is out of  this world!

Your Eyes Tell The Story!

Your Eyes Tell The Story!

The eye is the lamp of the body.

Mathew 6:22-23 22. The eye is the lamp of the body.

If your eyes are good, your whole body will be full of light. 23.

But if your eyes are bad your whole body will be full of darkness, how great is that darkness!

John 1:4 In him was life, and that life was the light of men.

Have you ever seen a person that their eyes just sparkle and they seem to be radiant or annointed as some put it? God is light.

If you are keeping your eyes fixed on God in everything you do, say, or hear... then that light (God's light) will reflect in your eyes (spirit).

A good eye is one that is fixed on God.

The radiance belongs to Him!

Can anybody see god?

Can anybody see God?
-- Author Unknown

A small boy once approached his slightly older sister with a question about God.

"Susie, can anybody ever really see God?" he asked. Busy with other things, Susie curtly replied: "No, of course not, silly. God is so far up in heaven that nobody can see him."

Time passed, but his question still lingered, so he approached his mother: "Mom, can anybody ever really see God?" "No, not really," she gently said. "God is a spirit and he dwells in our hearts, but we can never really see him."

Somewhat satisfied but still wondering, the youngster went on his way. Not long afterwards, his saintly old grandfather took the little boy on a fishing trip. They were having a great time together -- it had been an ideal day. The sun was beginning to set with unusual splendor as the day ended.

The old man stopped fishing and turned his full attention to the exquisite beauty unfolding before him.  On seeing the face of his grandfather reflecting such deep peace and contentment as he gazed into the magnificent ever-changing sunset, the little boy thought for a moment and finally spoke hesitatingly: "Granddad, I - I wasn't going to ask anybody else, but I wonder if you can tell me the answer to something I've been wondering about a long time. Can anybody, can anybody ever really see God?"

The old man did not even turn his head. A long moment slipped by before he finally answered. "Son," he quietly said. "It's getting so I can't see anything else."
"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world."
-- Psalm 19:1-4

God and Man

God and Man

B. Killebrew

Consciousness of God

Is only known by man;

But go ahead, use logic;

Rebuff Him if you can;

 But when argument is over,

You will see what must be true—

Were there not a God,

There would also not be you.

Comforted here by the ever present Lord,
Held fast by His anchor, safely moored,
Under His protection safe and secure
Rallied by his love forever pure.
Carried by faith to a peace never known
Happy in knowing we are not alone.

Feeding a wolf & reaping likewise

Feeding a wolf & reaping likewise

Tow Wolfs

This is a story  about a Cherokee grandfather who was teaching his grandson about the life principles of his tribe. The grandfather said ‘on the inside of every person is a battle raging between two wolves.

One wolf is evil. It is angry, jealous, proud, lazy, spiteful, hurtful and unforgiving. The other wolf is good and kind and full of self control. These two wolves fight constantly.’  For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption.

The little grandson thought about this for a moment and then said ‘which wolf will win, Grandfather?’
The grandfather replied ‘whichever one you feed.’

Inside of us there is a constant war going on - to go the way of the spirit or the way of the flesh.

The one that wins is the one we feed each day.

What are you feeding? Do you complain all the time about your job or your spouse or your children?

If so, you are feeding the flesh and will reap only corruption, according to the Bible.

Your habits, whether good or bad determine your outcome. Did you know that statistics show that 90% of our behaviour is based on habits?

That means how you treat people, how you talk whether negative or positive, how you spend your money? how you eat is what you do 90% of the time. You are on auto pilot, only doing what you have always done.

Habits are a hard thing to break, but it is possible. It all begins with changing a mindset. I often think about my childhood when I think about this.

You see, I was raised by a single Mom with four girls. We didn’t have a lot extra; frankly I don’t know how she did it. Growing up, I had no reason to think life could be better than that – I wasn’t raised that way and it wasn’t taught in my home. Yet, when I became born again and found scripture in the Bible that told me there was more, that told me Jesus died that I might have life and have it more abundantly - I believed it. And you know what I did?

I began to feed that truth in me. I read scriptures daily about it and I confessed that word over my life.
Do you know what happened? I began to have more – I began to have what I was saying.

You see, what you feed will win. If you are feeding unforgiveness you will always walk in forgiveness.
If you feed low self esteem, that is what you will have. If you go around saying ‘life stinks’ then I assure you life will continue to stink. However, if you begin to say what God says about your life by faith.

If you begin to feed your faith in that area, things will begin to change in your life. You have to say it before you will ever see it. If you have a tendency to be negative, change it today, feed your spirit with the word of God.

Don’t allow negative things to come out of your mouth. It’s your life and you are the prophet of your own life.

If you feed the flesh – everything you get will come from flesh - if you feed the spirit, you will experience life and life more abundantly.

You can change the attitude of your heart and

Psalm 23 – Explained

Psalm 23 – Explained
Author - Unknown

This is an eye opener… Some probably
never thought nor looked at this Psalm in this way…
even though they say it over and over again.

The Lord is my Shepherd
            - That’s Relationship!

I shall not want
            - That’s Supply!

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures.
            - That’s Rest!

He leadeth me beside the still waters.
            - That’s Refreshment!

He restoreth my soul
            - That’s Healing!

He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness.
            - That’s Guidance!

For His name sake
            - That’s Purpose!

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death.
            - That’s Testing!

I will fear no evil.
            - That’s Protection!

For Thou art with me
            - That’s Faithfulness!

Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me,
            - That’s Discipline!

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
            - That’s Hope!

Thou anointest my head with oil,
            - That’s Consecration!

My cup runneth over.
            - That’s Abundance!

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.
            - That’s Blessing!

And I will dwell in the house of the Lord.
            - That’s Security!

            - That’s Eternity!

Did Jesus Use a Modem at the Sermon on the Mount

Did Jesus Use a Modem at the Sermon on the Mount
By: Ellis Bush

Did Jesus use a modem

At the Sermon on the Mount?

Did He ever try a broadcast fax

To send His message out?

Did the disciples carry beepers

As they went about their route?

Did Jesus use a modem

At the Sermon on the Mount?

Did Paul use a Laptop

With lots of RAM and ROM?

Were his letters posted on a BBS

At Paul.Rome.Com?

Did the man from Macedonia

Send an E-Mail saying “Come?”

Did Paul use a Laptop

With lots of RAM and ROM?

Did Moses use a Joystick

at the Parting of the Sea?

And a Satellite Guidance Tracking System

To show him where to be?

Did he write the law on tablets

Or are they really on CD?

Did Moses use a joystick

At the parting of the Sea?

Did Jesus really die for us

One day upon a tree?

Or was it just a hologram

Or technical wizardry?

Can you download the Live Action Video Clip

To play on your PC?

Did Jesus really die for us

One day upon a tree?

Have the wonders of this modern age

Made you question what is true?

How a single man in a simple time

Could offer life anew?

How a sinless life, a cruel death

then a glorious life again

Could offer more to a desperate world

Than the inventions of man?

If in your life, the voice of God

Is sometimes hard to hear.

With other voices calling

His doesn’t touch your ear.

Then set aside your laptop and modem

And all your fancy gear.

And open your Bible, open your heart

And let your Father draw you near.
